Topic   – VALENTINE’S DAY

Your entry can be a story, poem, random thoughts, ideas or anything creative.. (but see that it does justice to the theme of the contest

The basic rules of the contest are given below :-

1. The post must must be original and must be first published in bloggertown only.

2. The post must not be published anywhere else on the web until the results are announced.

3.The post must be published under the category- “VALENTINE’S DAY”

4. The contest deadline 14th Feb 2010.

5.The results will be purely based on the opinion of the readers. The finalists will consist of authors whose posts have the maximum number of positive comments/feedback. The ratings also count.

So everyone please participate and comment on other entries as well.. Lets make this Valentines day an exciting one

2nd Contest

Topic   -   For our India

hiya bloggers!

Write about India! Here is Your opportunity!

INDIA is currently facing an at-wit’s-end situation with respect to its border problems!

India, while trying to defend itself from the arch enemy- Pakistan, overlooked the happenings at the eastern border! And now, China, taking advantage of India’s           preoccupation with the Muslim nation, has surged forward it’s troops well into the Indian subcontinent!
and our southern neighbor Srilanka, for it’s share,is creating problems too.

India is under pressure from all known sides! It’s such a great land that everyone seems to want it and be a part of it.
So let us all be glad that we are already Indians and needn’t fight to be a part of it!

And as Indians, the least we could do is to stay united, show our support for our nation and fight for it’s cause!

“PEN IS MIGHTIER THAN SWORD“, they say! and as bloggers, we should what we are best at- Writing! We must write to show our support to our mother nation!

Bloggertown thus calls for all it’s bloggers and authors to write for this cause and publish it in the category – For our India!

This is not just a contest, it’s an attempt to show the world that we care!

So please participate! And let the work be original!

The rules of the contest remains the same as the previous contest. But for new authors of bloggertown, we’ll once again list it out.
so here goes-

BLoGgEr-ToWn announces CONTEST for all it’s fellow bloggers!

Here’s a chance to write and win exciting prizes!

The results for the contest will be announced by the end of next month.

The winners will be notified via email and will receive attractive prizes! (the winners will be asked to send their complete postal addresses for mailing of the prizes)

All u have to do to participate in the competition is

1.  write your own posts on each of the following topics and publish it first on bloggertown under “contest” category. the topics are :-

• lost love (let loose ur romantic side…and put them in words..)

• My dark side ( like crazy things u’ve done or want to do, fantasies, ur worst deed, etc. it can be anything. we leave it to ur imagination)
• Indian Movies/Cricket/Politics (write ur views or opinions of anything thats happening in india right now.. it can be movies, cricket, politics, celebrity gossip, etc..it can be anything!)
• 55 fiction/poetry/ (55 fiction is a short story or a plot that consists of 55 words or less… try ur hand at this. it might be interesting than u thought)

• One of my best writings..(post anything you’ve written and feel it’s ur best)

2. the articles you’ve written for the contest must be first published on bloggerchat only!

Until the results are announced, plz don’t publish ur posts on your personal blog or anywhere else on the web. this is important.

3. U must write one post on each of the above topics. i.e. a total of five  posts minimum.

4. the posts must be original. (i.e. u must be the sole author of it.)
