So here is a new feature of my blog… Vaishali’s hot picks. With many readers letting me know that they enjoyed reading my last new edition to the blog, the Vaishali off-the-record comments, I have thought of another fun edition to the blog, which I am hoping you will all enjoy.

Vaishali’s hot picks will be a collection of the best and most recent, topical and funny sports-related videos. And with that said I will start with these…

1) Cristiano Ronaldo is generally famed for his amazing football skills, his dazzling looks and good style… and now it seems his singing voice. If you thought Ronnie’ wasn’t a natural born singer after seeing this clip a few years back of the Portugal international driving to training at Carrington then you were clearly wrong. Check out the Real Madrid player singing his heart out right here (and not doing too badly at it either).

2) David Bentley’s super-goal against Arsenal in the 4-4 draw last season at the Emirates was utterly fabulous. Well if you thought that was fabulous then check out this genius strike from coach and Yugoslavia legend Dragan Stojkovic. Note: After scoring the goal Stojkovic was then told to go and sit in the stands… he should have been given a lap of honour for that effort!

3) And for all you tennis fans out there this is a hilarious Nike advert in which Roger Federer takes on a crazy Rhys Darby and his tennis-ball machine gun.
